I recently clicked the pic above and purchased a new Inspiron Notebook and needed a versatile way of carrying it around. I do quite a bit of freelance work that takes me around town and in and out. I love my old Jansport backpack and it has held up to everything and they stand by their warranties. You just send it in and in a few weeks it's back to you good as new. Knowing how they are with their warranties I decided to purchase this model for hauling work around along with baby things. It has turned out to be a work horse! The only problem I have is that the Velcro that holds the computer in place does not quite make it over the top of my 14 inch monitor. It's ok because the computer sleeve holds it in fairly firmly. It has large zip pockets but is lacking many small ones for this that and the other. I love the rolling feature; it is hard to carry it in the airport so this comes in handy. For the money I think it is a perfect solution to those stuffy laptop bags for this girl!

I bought a similar backpack almost 5 years ago. (Jansport
with leather bottom...it only had one back pocket though) This is the second time that I purchased this backpack. The first time was over 5 years ago when my son was starting high school. Now he is a 2nd year student in college and it is time to replace the original one. Why not get the bag that has lasted so long!
I decided to review some things I didn't buy off Beardsmen, but I have owned for sometime that are really great items: the kind I would click the pic above and buy again for sure if they were lost. I would say lost or broken, but Jansport has lifetime warranties! If anything happens to your backpack, all you have to do is mail it to Jansport with a note of the problem, they will fix it for FREE and send it back to you. They will even send you a card while they have it telling you it misses you and will be back soon. Overall, these are such great products, you just have to get a Jansport if you're thinking of a backpack.

Backpack is light when empty, yet strong to carry the load of books to school. Side pocket for bottle very handy. Top pocket for CD player or small easy to reach items such as keys, very helpful and practical. I like the base of the backpack being dark color so it doesn't look dirty from use. The straps make it easy on your back for heavy loads, which is definitely a good thing because I'm in high school! It's big enough for all my books but not too big to be awkward. It'd be nice if it had more pockets, maybe one for a cell phone, but that's not really a problem since all I really carry is books. And the color's nice - that's always a plus.

After trying many different daypacks, this one is definitely the best one if weight is a problem. Many backpacks have so much padding that the bag is already somewhat heavy before you even put your books and other things in them. I've given away countless bags due to the weight issue, until I found this basic JanSport. Another added bonus: the bag comes in great colors and is reasonably priced you can buy more than one. Great for us girls that like a little color. My only complaint is that my hot pink bag was missing one of the fabric pull tabs. This bookbag is amazing. i love the whole look of it, and the style, and the fact that it can hold a lot of my books and papers and what not. It's great..thanks Beardsmen for the speedy delivery too. This backpack is very large inside. It is the third year I am using this brand and style. Being a girl I have to have a new color every year. This one is green. I like the color, it's very vibrant. Last years' was pink and though it was durable, it got dirty too easy and had to be washed quite often. Yes, I wash it in the washer on gentle cycle and hang to dry. It can hold all of my school books, but I'm thankful that I don't have to bring them all at once. Front zipper pocket is very large and holds my pen pouch, a small purse, and cd player. All around great backpack and it's washable, what more could you ask for?

This is an excellent pack with plenty of pockets and lots of
room for gear. My only issue is the 'squeak' of the straps rubbing together...
still looking for a way around that. It's just not a good idea to impersonate a
cat-toy while hiking thru mountain lion country.
I absolutely love this hydration pack. It has one large and two small pockets and two quick stash pockets with the bladder in its own separate pocket on the back. The large pocket has a space for a Discman and has a headphone port. Furthermore, the bladder is very high quality and I haven't had any problems with it. The bladder and hose are easy to remove so it is not hard to clean it. Also, this pack is offered for a much better price than the overpriced camelbacks. All in all, I think that this pack is definitely worth the money that I paid for it. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and this hydration pack is a lifesaver. I am able to take long walks without having to carry bottles of water with me. The size of the pack is small enough, not to be a bother but large enough for my keys, iPod, cell phone and a snack. This is a great deal for all of the features you get.

Switching from the typical shoulder laptop bag to a backpack was a good move. Laptop is well protected in this backpack and you can walk around all day without it feeling heavy (as is the case with shoulder bags) The backpack also allows you to carry many more items. I've walked around hours without this backpack bothering me. It's very comfortable. I have used this backpack for over 1.5 years of daily rough use including several trips and it's still going strong. Apart from lugging a very heavy laptop (~8 pounds) I regularly stuff it with my textbooks (it can easily fit 2 fat and 2 regular textbooks still leaving space in the front two compartments for my CD player, a cd case, stationery, a water bottle and more. The straps are padded and very comfortable even when you are carrying lots of stuff. Once this backpack has run its life I plan on clicking the pic above and buying the exact same one again. Thankfully I just got a lighter laptop so I can stuff more books into it now ;) I go to college and use this bag on a daily basis. It carries my laptop all around campus, along with books, a big water bottle, and anything else I need. It is absolutely perfect.

As a graduate student suffering from back problems, I was very particular about the backpack I wanted to buy. This bag is very sturdy, easy to maneuver and fits everything I need, i.e. computer, books, water bottle, etc. JanSport knows how to make a great product and I would recommend this bag to anyone.
