You can run this pan as hot as you dare without hurting it - works great for steaks, and makes an awesome cheese steak. The pre-seasoned coating works as advertised, and the cast iron gives good heat transfer and VERY even heat across the entire pan. I think I'm going to be using this skillet A LOT. A handy suggestion regarding cleaning that I stumbled across on another website... be SURE to use a hot pad while doing this! Immediately after cooking, fill the pan with HOT water (not cold; you could crack it!), put it on high heat, and bring the water to a rolling boil... this will lift debris off the pan bottom. Dump the water and immediately wipe dry with a paper towel, set on the (turned-off) burner briefly to dry completely, and wipe the cooking surfaces with oil. Another note - want those steaks well-done but juicy? Buy the Lodge Logic 5-qt Dutch oven; the lid fits this skillet! Sear both sides of the steak on medium-high (about 3 min each), then flip, reduce the heat to medium, cover, and cook as desired, flipping the steak once along the way (about 5 minutes per side for a small, well-done filet mignon). Your cooking times may vary, but the combo of cast-iron skillet for searing and lid to keep things moist while cooking works exquisitely. Brown, not black, outside... and tender inside.
How long will the food last? What are proper storage conditions? How does AlpineAire Foods extend the shelf life of food? Is the oxygen absorber harmful? What is freeze drying? Key advantages of freeze-dried products include:
This Coleman drip coffeemaker is the ultimate indulgence for those who
love to make coffee outdoors. Why sacrifice the quality of your coffee on a
camping trip? If you love camping and you love coffee, get this maker...forget
any other method (unless, of course, you absolutely don't have the room such as
when backpacking or you have electric available at your campsite).

The first thing you need to realize is that when cooking with cast iron, the entire piece gets HOT. It is an even heating surface, and yes, that even includes the handles. That's why Lodge made the Hot Handle Holder Set, and they really hit the nail on the head with this one. The holders fit perfectly on the handles of the pans that they make. They slide on easily and can remain there while you're cooking the item, if it is not near an open flame of course. They protect your hands from heat, even when holding the pan for extended periods of time like while you're cleaning it after cooking. It also makes the handle more comfortable, and provides a pretty good grip. The red peppers are my favorite, but I also have a set of the green salsa holders and they're nice too. Lodge is a company that is known for their quality, and this product is no exception. When cooking with cast iron skillets, these pans get HOT, extending through to the handles. I ordered the hot handle holder sets and needless to say, the holder set did not reduce the heat from the handles as I expected. Using one of the holders I continued to feel the heat from the handle. But it works better when I used two of the holders on the hot handle. It's too bad Lodge didn't make one holder strong enough to withstand the heat from the handle. I'll continue to use two of the holders but think there could be a less expensive way to protect the cook from potentially dangerous burns from the hot handle.
Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated tote travels to school, work, or recreation and keeps foods hot or cold for up to six hours. Four microwave-safe, white plastic containers stack inside, providing enough capacity for a balanced meal: salad, soup, main dish, and dessert. The main-dish container and leak-proof soup container have twist tops, while the salad and dessert containers have snap tops. A stainless steel spoon travels inside a plastic case that slips into a plastic holder attached to the tote's side, and a removable black nylon strap slips over a shoulder to keep the tote upright. With its satin-finish exterior, stainless steel inner liner, and black plastic accents, the tote (9-1/2 inches high, 4-1/2 inches in diameter) is handsome, compact, and durable. Preheating or prechilling the tote with hot or cold water, depending on the lunch's contents, is recommended.
Simplify cooking for large groups on car and RV camping expeditions or tailgating parties with the Coleman Exponent 2142A700 Outfitter camp kitchen--a complete outdoor food preparation center. This two-tiered table system features a main preparation and storage area and a side extender shelf that easily holds most Coleman stoves. The storage/prep area includes a removable sink with drain plug and hose, paper towel holder, and chrome plated wire hooks and shelving for additional storage. It has a closeable lid with painted game boards (checkers/backgammon pieces included). It's made from heavy-duty channel extruded aluminum for added strength and features stable leg braces for added support, a convenient carry handle and rugged storage bag.
I have a full set of Ultrex, a snappy modern line sold by a company that makes pans for many big names found in department stores. 55 year warranty, they work fine... But they're non-stick and I've started to worry about that. Not long ago, a study came out that suggested eating foods cooked in Teflon pans left molecules of something or other floating around in the person's blood for FOUR YEARS. I thought twice about this and decided it was time to look into other pans. It might turn out to be benign - but what if it isn't? I was addicted to good browning, was used to it from Cuisinart pans and Ultrex. I tried Calphalon hard-anodized aluminum. One burning incident and that pan was RUINED, totally ruined, nothing would clean it. I've cooked in this Lodge Logic pre-seasoned for a dozen meals now, meat and fish, vegetables too. I've used all types of fats - olive oil, butter, corn oil. Tonight it made a gravy to die for - using heavy cream and mushrooms. You do have to get used to its different heating cycle. It heats up slower than some other materials. It cools off slower too. But it is fuel efficient and you can do a lot of cooking on Low. My #1 demand was that it brown meat well. It does that SPLENDIDLY. Really beautiful. Heat the pan for 5 minutes on near High. Throw in two tablespoons of olive oil, throw in stew meat and it will brown in four minutes, magazine picture perfect. Stir with a wooden spoon. Throw in vegetables once the meat's browned. A few cups of water, put the lid on, turn it down to Medium for 15 minutes, Low for another 15 minutes -- it will look like a magazine cover stew. Browning a roast is even easier -- and you can put it into the oven after browning. If I had to complain of anything, it would be that cast iron is heavy. I'm not sure how much of a problem this will be. This is still a small enough pot to handle for most people. You can roast a whole chicken in it so if that's the quantity you cook, click the pic above and buy this right NOW, you can't go wrong.
The Snow Peak Trek 1400 Titanium is the perfect ultra-light cooking set for hikers looking for a mid size pot and fry pan. The set consists of a 47 oz. (1.5 quart) pot and a 17 oz. (0.5 quart) lid/fry pan. The pot has a measuring scale stamped on the inside (no need to carry an extra measuring cup). The V-shaped folding handles, make the pot easier to handle. The pot is designed to allow the larger 13.1 oz. Snow Peak fuel canister to nest inside, along with a GigaPower stove in its case. The fry pan handle folds back over the bottom of the pan, making for a compact and packable unit. The set is made of titanium. Titanium is an advanced, lightweight metal that is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel and more heat resistant than aluminum. A nylon mesh stuff sack is included. The set weighs in at only 7.4 oz.
8 varieties of organic meals including oatmeal, griddle cakes, chocolate chip cookies, brownies, santa fe pasta, alfredo pasta, chilimac and bacon and egg scrambler.
This fryer is going to last forever. Its care is easy: I scrub it with hot water only, and dry it with an old rag and apply a thin layer of vegetable oil while the iron is still hot... a year and a half later, it's still rust-free and delivering the reliable service I have come to expect and admire. No scratches interfere with its performance, as is the case with my allegedly-long-lasting Wearever nonstick cookware set (what a waste of money THAT was!). In fact, in this particular chicken fryer, I've produced everything from french fries to spaghetti sauce to eggs and bacon to french toast! It's a dependable griddle, skillet, grill, and pot, and it goes right from the stovetop and into the oven for maximum versatility. The best thing about the chicken fryer is its somewhat smaller circumference than the skillet or the Dutch oven. It takes up a bit less stovetop space and provides greater depth, making it ideal for small batches of soups, stews, or deep-fried goodies. I am an avid home-chef, and I can say without exception that my cast-iron cookware is the best kitchen investment I've ever made.
Includes large chef's knife, meat piercing fork, boning knife, paring knife, tungsten sharpener, 6 steak knives and cutting board in an impact resistant carrying case. Knife Type: Fixed Blade. Blade Edge: Plain. Blade Material: Stainless. Handle Material: Rubber.
I can't say enough good things about the pre-seasoned cast iron. It is especially helpful to people who are new to using cast iron. This is a big skillet and the only drawback is the weight, it is VERY heavy. Once you get used to using cast iron and find out how it retains heat and cooks great, you will love it. I find that cleanup is easy too. After you are done cooking (while it is still hot), fill it half full with water and leave it on the still warm burner & the food will basically cook itself off. If necessary use a brush to loosen anything left on the pan, rinse with hot water (do NOT use soap) and dry. While the pan is still warm from the hot water, smooth a thin layer of shortening over it and wipe off excess with a paper towel. If the pan is still too hot to use my fingers, I use a small toothbrush and rub the shortening on with it. If you are cooking for less than four people, buy the smaller size skillet.
However if you have limited space in your kitchen cabinet get the combo cooker. The lid is nearly as large as this one and you get the fry pan as well. On the plus side, this pan being thin fits right under the stack of cast iron pans I already own. So if you cook for a large family and want to serve everyone faster, this is a good way to go as an additional pan.
The Bolt Won't Roll. The Stanley 1.1Qt Bolt Bottle has a unique "won't roll" design, a lid that can be used as a cup and a rugged stainless steel handle. With durable double wall stainless steel vacuum insulation, the Bolt will keep your coffee hot all day long. All Stanley products are backed by a lifetime guarantee. In 1913, William Stanley invented the all-steel vacuum bottle. Since then, the Stanley bottle hasn't missed a day of work, a football game, or a trip to the great outdoors. The distinctive Stanley bottle is an American Icon that still works as hard today as it did nearly 100 years ago. Stanley... Built for Life.
I cook for myself, so this little skillet is the perfect size for 3-egg omelet in the morning, or veggie sauté for dinner. I am a small to medium sized female w/ skinny arms, but this skillet is not too heavy so I can still lift it w/ one arm. It's not really non-stick because the eggs won't easily slide off the pan like they would from a good new non-stick pan, but it's much much better compared w/ my stainless steel skillets. As long as you soak the pan in water after cooking, by the time you finish your meal, the food residue can be easily washed off with a brush or sponge. I use a nylon dish brush with hot water and cleaning is very fast and easy. I never use soap or steel wool. Leaving a bit grease on acts like re-seasoning. This is the same way I take care of my carbon-steel wok. The only complaint I have is that the handle is way too short. The skillet is relatively heavy but even with my small hands it still feels as if the handle only fits half of my palm, so it forces your hand to hold it really close to the hot pan - really bad design. Though I use it everyday and find it indispensable, the short handle alone is why I am unwilling to give it a five star rating.
Kit Contents:

Mountain House's Potatoes and Cheddar with Broccoli for two is a hearty vegetarian meal that's ready in seconds. Just add boiling water to the freeze dried meal in its foil pouch and wait for your backcountry masterpiece.
I do a lot of French roasting (preheating the skillet to 400+ degrees in the oven, then placing it on stovetop over high heat to sear the meat/poultry, then placing back in the oven at reduced temperature). I don't have to be concerned about melting handles, ruining non-stick coatings or warping, and the heavy cast iron absorbs, distributes and retains heat beautifully, as advertised. My first 'project' with it was my version of French 'Chicken In A Pot'. I seared a trussed, seasoned 5 ½ pound whole chicken on all sides in a stick of melted butter (it browned just beautifully!), added mirepoix, bouquet garni and chicken stock and put the Dutch oven in the oven uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour. I then added large-cut potatoes, carrot, celery, onion and leek and let it continue for about 1 ½ hours covered, basting about every 15 minutes until the chicken and vegetables tested done. The chicken was incredibly moist and tender (better than I've ever had) and the vegetables were al dente and very full flavored and colorful - all in one pot! The resulting juices made fantastic gravy. Clear instructions for care and seasoning came with the Dutch oven. During the seasoning process it turned ugly (just like it's supposed to) and the kitchen took on the faint aroma of a foundry, but now it is truly non-stick, especially if you start off with it preheated in the oven to very hot (400+). The flavors of foods are so much better with cast iron! I could say it was my imagination if not for the fact that I've heard this claim from so many other cast iron users. I wash it with clear water and a soft brush, dry it with a dish towel, then place it in a warm oven for about 15 minutes to dry it thoroughly, then wipe a light coat of vegetable oil all over it and it's ready to go again. The 'household' understands that I am the only one who cleans it and that it is never to be soaked. The standing rule is "Just leave it and I'll take care of it". There are no objections. I clicked the pic above and purchased the Dutch oven as a result of being so pleased with my recently purchased Lodge 12" skillet (especially after I read one of the other reviewer's tip that the Dutch oven's lid also fits the 12" skillet, which it does perfectly). All this for a fraction of the price of the 'trendy' cookware (and it will easily outlive them). I would consider my new Lodge Dutch oven a bargain at twice the price.
X2 Modular Table Set - Glacier Ice Blue.
We have this fryer and like it very much. We always fry outside so there
is no mess and smell anyway. We use the burner on our grill or the base for our
turkey fryer with this.
Now you can bring the eggs. Mountain House's Precooked Scrambled Eggs for one is the easy way to make breakfast. Just add boiling water to the pouch and watch the sun come up while you eat.
I am a great fan of cast iron cookware and have quite a few pieces. The 10-1/2 in. round griddle is my first by Lodge however, I just happened to see it on sale and clicked the pic above and bought it. Although I think the overall quality is good, I soon realized the handle was much too short. I do not have large hands (I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs. male) yet handling the pan is really awkward especially if the handle or my hand is wet (forget soapy). In fact I have a couple of 10-1/2 in. skillets (not Lodge nor both the same brand) that even though they are heavier they are much easier to handle because they weren't so stingy with the amount of material used for the handle.
Compact and extremely light and durable (titanium). Stuffs nicely in a black nylon mesh bag. Your backpacking stove will also fit nicely inside this 3-piece kit. Pots can become extremely hot as well, the handles (on each piece) are not coated or have a protecting, an oven mitt is recommended. Other than that, I would highly recommend this cookware. The price is also great for many uses of this product!
Cast Iron is ALWAYS a good value for the money and it's indestructible (I'm still using my mother's Lodge skillet that she got for a wedding gift in 1954). This dutch oven, designed specifically for the camp or fireplace cook, goes from the fire to the table with ease. It stews and bakes beautifully - get a dutch oven cookbook and learn how to make campfire biscuits as well as those stews and chili's! Also makes a fabulous wedding, shower, or housewarming gift. Forget expensive wedding registries - buy the bride a lodge dutch oven and skillet. She'll hand them down to the next generation. Every camper can use this and so can every backyard griller. Highly recommend!
Build your camp kitchen one pot at a time. Snow Peak's focus on nesting cook sets makes this an exceptional build-as-you-go system.
This would be a great pot to substitute for a dutch oven for a single person or couple because of it's smaller size. We are a family of 4 and it is the perfect size for side dishes like baked beans also. When you don't need the bigger 5 quart dutch oven, this pan gets the job done. As always, LOVE the pre-seasoning!
I now own the 8" skillet, the 12" skillet, the 5 qt. dutch oven, and the grill/griddle. Beardsmen's prices are insanely cheap. Almost half the price of other cooking web sites!
Mountain Chili, Black Beans & Rice and Bandito scramble are meatless and gluten-free. Sierra Chicken is a tomato based pasta & vegetable dish. The creamy Beef Stroganoff w/Noodles is the best on the market. Deep Dish Peach Crumble has sliced peaches in sauce with graham cracker crumbs. Extra large serving portions make each dish satisfying.
I had not used a cast iron skillet in many years, and due to not knowing
how to care for it properly back then, it became rusty and I gave up on cast
iron.
We love the Air Grill! It's so versatile. We use it in our wood burning fireplace and for picnics at the Lake. It's light weight and easy to transport. It makes a great Xmas gift! Everyone should own an Air Grill!!! I am an avid camper and hiker and always looking for light weight equipment! This is it... the blower fits easily in my back pack and is so light it adds like no extra weight! I love it and will be giving some of these to my fellow outdoor friends for birthdays and Christmas.
Also included in the set are; 2-, 4-, and 10-quart kettles, each with lid; a 10-inch frying pan (which doubles as the lid for the 10-quart kettle); a 9-inch frying pan; a removable steel handle for the kettles and frying pans; six, eight-ounce stackable plastic cups with handles; and a five-cup percolating coffeepot. A utensil bag holds six each of the following plastic utensils: knife, fork, spoon, and spork (spoon with short tines). All the metal pots are made of aluminum with an inner nonstick finish that fares best with plastic or wooden cooking utensils. All items should be washed in hot, soapy water before initial use. Sturdy and durable, this set should last for years.
Sierra Chicken has pasta & vegetables, Chicken Gumbo has okra, corn, peppers & lots of spice, and Mashed Potatoes, Turkey & Gravy is comfort food at it's best.
It's just the right size for sautéing veggies and meat for one. Cooks evenly and requires little cleanup. The preseasoning takes the guesswork out of initially readying cast-iron cookware for use. Lodge Pro-Logic properly packaged and sent my merchandise in record time. I would definitly buy from them again and recommend them to my friends. I bought this skillet over one month ago. It is wonderful. It makes perfect omelet's and fried eggs. This is my new everyday pan. I used to be a fan of nonstick pans, however, after noting the nonstick coatings coming off my pans, I went back to the basics with cast iron. Cast iron cookware needs more care to prevent rust. That is the only drawback. I have the surety of knowing that this pan will last forever and not worry about chemicals coming off onto my food.
Exclusively designed to capture our classic style, this unique tool set conveniently folds to create a compact carrying case: Polished Stainless Steel Tools. Brushed Stainless Steel Handles. Compact Folding Canvas Carrying Case. Elastic and Velcro Security Straps. Easy Grip Carrying Handle. Durable 600 Denier Canvas. Contents: 1 Multi Function Spatula. 1 Gripping Tongs. 8 Corn on the Cob Holders. 1 Marinating Brush. 1 Three Prong Turning Fork.
34 varieties of Mountain House food.
I have found that Lodge cast iron is the heaviest cast iron cookware on the market. For that reason I consider it the best. And the price is a steal! These things will last you your entire life, and just get better and better as time goes by. And unlike some people, I find taking proper care of my Lodge cast iron cookware is a breeze. No, you can't put them in the dishwasher, but so what?! They'll clean up just fine with a quick rinse and light scrub with a plastic scouring pad or good stiff brush, using very hot water. Dry thoroughly, then a good wipe all over, inside and out with a light coating of vegetable oil or shortening, and there you have it! I have a variety of Lodge cast iron skillets and I find that the little 8-inch is one of the most versatile sizes for everyday cooking purposes. You cannot go wrong with Lodge-OR their great little 8-inch skillet! I wouldn't buy any other brand of cast iron cookware!
I clicked the pic above and purchased this item based on other reviews and
I am not sorry I made the purchase for several reasons. I love Lodge Cast Iron,
Beardsmen has the best prices anywhere. However, I was taken aback by the size
of this skillet. It is huge! I tried it on my gas range and it takes up the
front and the back burners but adjustments are needed to keep the sides from
burning.
Include main course, side, and a drink. Breakfasts 1-3, 5 require frying. 4 & 6 just add water.
This is the classic size that is used by scouts, chuck wagon cooks, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. It is a #12 which is the "standard" size most commonly used, but there are dozens of sizes bigger and smaller. This one holds 8 quarts, measuring 12" in diameter by 5" tall. It has the tripod legs and a recessed lid best suited for cooking in coals. You can flip this lid over and use it as a skillet if you need to. I also have the dutch oven with no legs and a domed lid for use in a home oven. You can do it all with a Dutch Oven - cobblers, stews, beans, roasts, dumplings, you name it. QUALITY: There is a reason you can find old cast iron pans in antique stores, it lasts forever. I have quite a few pans and stuff inherited from family members and even some garage sale finds. While my fancy and expensive non-stick cookware seems to last no more than a few years before replacement in my kitchen, but this stuff can easily last many decades of daily use. It has a life time warranty! I love to cook with cast iron even at home, it is so durable, but I
can take it camping too. Easy to clean up, the only drawback being it is heavy.
Cast iron takes a bit longer to heat up, but the heat transfers evenly without
hot spots and it retains its heat for a long time. I am not sure why, but people
swear things taste better in cast iron. It just seems that cast iron only
improves with use instead of wearing out like other pans.
One side will produce awesome grill marks while the other side is IDEAL
for pancakes, it outperforms anything else. Lodge cast iron is simple to season,
and you'll develop a finish that Teflon only hopes it could imitate!
Classically designed, this 18 pc Traditional Wood Barbecue Set comes in a protective molded case. Each tool has extra long handles to keep hands safely away from hot flames. A sophisticated and impressive gift for any outdoor enthusiast! Solid Wood Handles. Polished Stainless Steel Tools. Durable and Protective Molded Case. . Case Color: Black Case / Wood Handles.
Versatile enough to be a pot, mug or bowl, this lightweight and strong titanium kettle complements the Titan Cookset perfectly. The Titan Kettle holds .85 liters of liquid and comes with a tight-fitting lid and drip-free spout for ease of pouring.
I clicked the pic above and purchased this dutch oven to use with my Cub Scout pack. It is fantastic! I have used it twice to make biscuits and they were wonderful. I also purchased the 8 quart dutch oven and made deer stew for the entire pack . The pots were very easy to clean up . I highly recommend this item and I am considering purchasing an additional one to use for making dessert.

I received my beautiful Lodge Enamel 7 quart pot a few weeks ago and it
performs and looks beautiful. This piece looks and cooks like a dream. Quick boil, slow simmer, very easy clean up. Dollar for dollar the best buy on the market. If Lodge gave us more size options Le Cruset would need to rethink their prices.
Enjoy flapjacks in the morning or burgers at the tailgating party with this Coleman griddle, offering a thick cast aluminum that provides more even heat distribution. It features a non-stick coating for easy clean-up and a grease reservoir that drains grease away from food. It also fits all Coleman gas and propane multiple-burner stoves. The griddle measures 16 by 10 inches with 2.5 inches for the grease trap.

Spiral turned bottom grips your stove or grill. Incredibly abrasion resistant and twice as hard as stainless steel. Allows heat to quickly and evenly spread across the bottom and up the sides. Easy cleaning. Please note that if you are ordering the 5 piece cookset, it includes a 1-Quart pot and fry pan/lid, along with a pot holder, and an additional pot and frying pan. This is such a great pan for omelets because of the sloped sides that allow you to slide underneath. This would be a great first piece of cast iron for someone new to using it because of the size and it is pre-seasoned. I use it all the time & it just keeps getting better! Is not fully seasoned out of the box but within a short time will be a non-stick HIGH heat sauté pan. Lighter in construction than other lodge pans it handles well. The casting ridges are not ground down but you will be using a potholder. Great tool period.
For those of us who remember grandma's little "ears of corn" bread! Cast iron never wears out and you can give your old-fashioned cornbread a decorative change for dinner parties, fish fries, church picnics, holiday dinners...the list goes on and on. Well worth adding to your kitchen. Also makes a nice wedding or shower gift. This is a perfect way to spruce up plain old corn bread, by making it look like perfect ears of corn! My kids love it and it looks very nice when serving guests. I have one that was passed down to me and I am clicking the pic above and ordering this pre-seasoned one also because one pan is never enough! I wish they offered a pan that cooked more at one time. This is a great investment and works better than products that cost three times as much.

This set is awesome! It packs small and light for stainless steel, and it is well constructed and durable. The pots are bigger than you'd expect. We can cook noodles in one and sauce in the other for our family of four. I also recommend the MSR bowls and plates that nest with the set. The included carry bag is also nice.
I clicked the pic above and bought this item on a whim. It really helps if you want to be able to seat a lot of people at your table. We used it camping (in the rain!) this weekend. It works great and everyone that visited our campsite really liked it. The only reason I held off on a 5 star rating was because the clips that hold the trash bag onto the holder are small and don't grip very well. They are also very easy to lose. Other than that one drawback this product ROCKS for camping!
We are a family of 5 and just returned from our first family camping trip. This cook set served us well. It is very easy to clean up and it all fits together nicely for storage. I recommend this product to all big families. Great price too!!
It's a deep skillet, a fryer, a Dutch oven, and the lid converts to a shallow skillet or griddle. This versatile piece of cast iron cookware allows the preparation of almost any recipe. Great for kitchen and outdoor cooking.
Great price on the flatware set. It served our family well. The spoons are huge, which is good for adults, but if you have small children I recommend bringing their own spoons. My 4 yr. old and 2 yr. old had trouble fitting these in their mouths. All in all this is a great purchase and will serve us for many years to come. Thanks!!
The 'Spork', what more can I say. This is the best cutlery invention to date! I love this utensil, a combination of a spoon and a fork makes this ideal for eating food which combines liquid and solids, such as chunky broth. Simply scoop up the liquid with the spoon bit and use the fork bit for eating those delicious soup chunks. Whether you are in the home, garden, office train or bus the Spork can be used anywhere. Weighing only 1.6 ounces, the Spork's light weight engineering makes it easy to carry and its compact size means it can be stored in your pockets, front, back or shirt breast pocket. I like to carry mine in the breast pocket of my blue short sleeved shirt along with my pen. Made out of Titanium means all food eaten with the Spork means 'Goodbye' to that metallic taste which can sometime accompany food eaten with a standard stainless steel of iron fork. If I could meet the man who invented this wonderful utensil I would shake him by the hand and buy him a brandy. I only hope that someone invents a Ksporife, a combination of a Spork and a knife, that's the only thing that could possibly beat the Spork. I award Snowpeak's Titanium Spork 5 stars.
I absolutely adore this griddle, and I use it almost every day.
