Explorer Lighter: The Explorer is a rugged survival accessory that features a plated metal outer case that is offered in four durable finishes. It has a windproof turbo flame that can withstand strong winds and an integrated LED light that can be used to read at the campsite or to illuminate your trail.
Made from high-quality parts that will last a lifetime. The design is well thought out. The burner output is higher than any other 2 burner I know of. This is great for getting water to boil or food to cook up quickly when it's very cold. Century is also a good company that stands behind their product. We use the Coleman Grill Stove at my son's baseball games. During week nights with homework and all the schedule works well for families on the team to share dinner after the game. We cook hotdogs and burgers on the grill for about 30 to 40 people. The kids love it and my wife has been voted team MOM the last couple of seasons. I love the fact that cool spring evenings or cooler fall evenings we can have hot water for tea, cider, or coffee. With the burner we can not only grill but provide chili for the dogs or what have you. We use a larger white style propane tank (I think 2 gallon) and it works and takes us through a season. This is worth it! Easy to clean, much more functional, and flat out better than the 2 or 3 burner options available.Oh, and a bigger bonus, fellow campers will feel nothing but jealousy, as they ask if they can use your grillin' stove to make YOU some bacon, sausage, and eggs!
The safest tent heater ever! Simply place the heater outside the tent and
insert the air tubes through the tent door. A small fan (hidden inside the cold
air duct) connects to any 12 volt battery. In just seconds safe dry hot air
flows into your tent. Designed with a sealed heat exchanger keeping dangerous
gases and smelly odors safely outside the tent. Provides unlimited SAFE heat instantly
This is my first propane stove and I will never go back to liquid fuel again! It lights very easily and stays lit very well with the wind guards in place correctly. Clean up is simple with the removable splash guard. It gets VERY hot VERY fast so keep an eye on your food the first time you use it. I boiled a large pot of water in about 5 min. We just got it and it's perfect. Larger then we thought and plenty of space for large pots and skillets. Ours will be hooked to a large propane tank and is perfect for our family. Well worth the money.
I have had this stove for about 2 years and have been very pleased with it. It boils items quickly as well as simmers well. It works so well that sometimes I use it at home when cooking outside. I have not tried using any fuel other than "camp fuel" so I can't comment on the multifuel use. The stove is very strong, lightweight, and is constructed very well. The only downside is it is expensive.
My dad liked my single a lot so he bought a Mr. Heater Double to heat a big 3 car garage sized shop. He liked it but now thinks that a single would have worked fine as the double gets that big area heated in no time and keeps it really toasty. My single unit works far better than gas logs to heat up a room. It does make a hissing sound that is not too loud but barely audible. A single will knock the chill off a large room in no time. A tank of propane will last about 30 to 36 continuous hours if you keep it set on low. I think this is a great alternative to other auxiliary heat sources like Kerosuns or a fireplace. With an asthmatic child in our family, a kerosene heater is out of the question for us. This burns clean, creates no odor, smoke or soot. There's no maintenance, no wicks or anything like that. You can store it indefinitely untouched and then pull it out and fire it up with no preparation. I will click the pic above and buy another one if mine ever wears out. I have recommended Mr. Heater to lots of my friends and family and have no reservation about recommending one to you. If you can't decide whether you need a single, double or triple I suggest trying the single first. Then if you aren't happy step up to the double or triple. It is really amazing how much heat a Mr. Heater Single generates! It is rare to find a really good product that is durable and an excellent value. Mr. Heater is one of those rare finds. They are the Zippo lighter of auxiliary space heaters in my opinion.
The Snow Peak GigaPower Stove with titanium and manual ignition produces 10,000 BTUs. Use this backpacking stove with Snow Peak fuel in temperatures as low as 14F (-10 C). The Snow Peak GigaPower backpacking stove burns 45 minutes at maximum gas output (10,000 BTUs) with the GP-110 fuel canister. Comes in high-quality plastic carrying case, 1-1/2" x 1-7/8" x 3-1/2". Weight: 3 oz.
If you have electricity, use an electric heater. Don't bother with the hassle of propane. The cost isn't too different and the hassle factor is much higher than electricity. I also don't recommend using the small canisters. That's an inconvenient way to go as well. BUT. If you don't have power and need a cheap, safe heat source that you can run while you sleep, this is the best one made. Buy the 12' hose, place a 20lb propane tank outside, and run this heater all night with just a small crack in a window or door (just in case!). You will get > 100 hours of heat out of a tank of propane! Less than a buck to run it all night. Highly recommended under the right circumstances.
This Coleman stove is constructed of an aluminized-steel cook top and removable, heavy-duty nickel-chrome grate so it resists rust and is incredibly easy to clean. With an output of 22,000 BTU in two high-performance burners you won't lack for cooking heat, and with the Windblock system you can shield the burners for maximum heat or fold the shields down into convenient side tables. Powered by a 16.4-ounce propane cylinder (not included) this grill stove lights easily with matchless electronic lighting, and will last for up to one hour with both burners on high. This Coleman two burner propane stove is dependable, durable, and easy to use.
I have a wall tent 14X26X5. When we arrived in camp it was raining so hard all we could do was get the tent up and the rain fly on. The temperature was in the high 30's. We did not set up our stoves or cut wood because of the rain. We fired up the Mr Heater and in no time the tent was warm. It rained off and on for the next 7 days and we only used the Mr Heater for our heat for the tent. I purchased my Mr Heater from Beardsmen used (refurbished) and it is excellent. I am going to buy three more used when they come on to Beardsmen as I have two other big tents in my hunting camp and a shower tent and they will all have a Mr. Heater in them for my hunters comfort.

As always Coleman finds a way to do it for less. However I find this stove to be a little hard to change fuel bottles and it needs a hard cover to protect it in the backpack.
